Seminars & Workshops
Our free seminars and workshops are held throughout the year with topics that are important to ADF serving members and their families. These events are designed based on feedback from base command, ADF members, and other community organisations, ensure they are relevant, up to date and locally focused.
INTEGRATION EVENTS
We know that Serving life can have a unique impact on members and their connection with families and friends. Being posted to a new location at least once every three years leave little time to enjoy the new location, connect with others and establish support networks.
HDSN partners with numerous local civilian organizations to create fun, Defence themed integration events, providing opportunities for Defence members to know more about the Hunter region and its local civilian community, and vice versa. These events aim to create support networks and improve relationship bonds among local families and friends. Where possible, Defence members are provided with subsidised entries or special benefits.
